Subject: Safety Advisory for Students Traveling Due to Security Concerns

Dear NAOSS Students,

In light of the recent kidnapping incidents reported across parts of Ondo State, and as many students will soon be traveling home at the end of the academic session, the Directorate of Social wishes to strongly advise all students to prioritize their safety while traveling.

Students are advised to take the following precautions:

1. Avoid late-night traveling. Plan your journey during the daytime to reduce exposure to security risks.

2. Board vehicles only from recognized motor parks. Do not enter buses from roadside pickups or unfamiliar locations.

3. Always observe and confirm the vehicle before boarding. Check the condition of the bus, the driver, and the passengers before entering. If anything feels suspicious, do not board.

4. Inform someone about your journey. Let your family or trusted friends know your departure time, destination, and expected arrival time.

5. Stay vigilant throughout your journey. Keep your belongings secure and remain aware of your surroundings at all times.

Your safety and well-being are extremely important to us. We encourage every student to remain careful and responsible while traveling during this period.
